Chocolate Chip Cookies (NoCal Sugar)

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup NoCal sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat butter and NoCal sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Sift in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing evenly.

Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
